Sad news was received of the death on Good Friday of former member Cynthia Richards after a long illness with Alzheimer’s.
President Chris announced at the Meeting on 10 April informed members of the death of Dr Joe Tucci, from the Australian Childhood Foundation, of which the Rotary Melbourne has a close association.
At the Rotary Melbourne meeting on Wednesday 10 April 24 Dr Chantelle Thornton, Specialist Breast Cancer Surgeon at Epworth hospital spoke.

Linda and I had some very nice conversations with several Rotarians. The guest speaker was particularly interesting.

It is with great sadness that Rotary Melbourne advises the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Bev Brock. Bev passed away on Sunday 7 April 2024 at her home in Melbourne, surrounded by her family. A Memorial service will be held this Thursday 18 April 24.
Rotary Melbourne welcomed and inducted Kenza Dairi on 10 April 2024 with the classification Corporate Partnerships - Health Science. Kenza works at Eastern Health Foundation in April 2023 as Corporate Partnerships Manager, raising funds from the business community towards programs that ensure patients and families in Melbourne’s eastern regions receive excellent health care across the 10 public hospitals operated by Eastern Health.
