Rotary Melbourne's evening conversation was a picnic in the Rotary Melbourne Peace Park, South Yarra, on Wednesday 8 February. The guest speakers were Rotary Melbourne member Rob McGuirk and Associate Professor Neil McLachlan designer of the Rotary Melbourne peace bells.
Numbers in person and on-line increased last week with an interesting presentation from Professor Graham Currie from Monash University on the compelling subject of Melbourne’s Public Transport Future.
The Club’s first meeting at the Sofitel celebrated Rotary’s Vocational Service month, featuring three members – Moderator Richard Parker whose career embraced major projects such as public housing and the Melbourne City Link project, major project management expert, Nick Pelham, and residential project manager and architect, Barbara Yerondais.

Rotary Melbourne's evening conversation was held at the Lyceum Club on 7 December. Last week's guest speaker was Tim Conolan AM from TLC for Kids. TLC for Kids provides relief and distraction to sick children and their families going through stressful and traumatic situations.
