The annual Rotary Foundation Breakfast was held on Thursday by R C Central Melbourne (chartered by RCM).
The Balwyn Group met on Thursday evening at the home of Kelton and Wendy Dennis and enjoyed the conversation and sharing of fellowship. The weather was also a "hot" topic as Thursday was a scorcher. Note the photo of the red sunset.

This unique and booked-out fundraiser event, held on Friday at the DIK, was the brainchild of District International Chair Jenny Foster. The dinner table stretched along the full length of the warehouse, African food was served and African music played and danced to. It was a superb evening of Rotarians and friends celebrating the contribution that the African community makes to multi-cultural life in Melbourne. Thanks IPP Robert for this item.

Governor of Victoria Hon Linda Dessau, AM our Hush Foundation's "Gathering of Kindness" committee chaired by Hon Secretary Reg Smith, PRIP Ravi Ravindran and Vanathy along with District Rotarians, President Kevin Sheehan and several Rotary Melbourne members were invited to a morning reception at Government House last Wednesday. This was in celebration of World Kindness Day.
