Update from ESRAG October 2023

This month the Environmental Sustainability Rotarian Action Group (ESRAG) newsletter ESRAG October 2023 Volume 8 Issue 4 features an article titled 'Rotary's top leaders to attend COP 28'. For the first time, Rotary will have a pavilion and programing in the Blue Zone at this year’s UN Climate Conference – COP 28 - which will take place in Dubai from Nov. 30 to Dec. 12. Rotary’s senior leaders will attend with a significantly expanded delegation including four ESRAG members. The Conference of the Parties (COP) is convened by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

First birthday for Viv's Place 

September is a time of celebration for Launch Housing - marking one year of Viv’s Place, providing a fresh start for more than 60 women and 140 children escaping family violence and homelessness. It was wonderful to see families also joining in Book Week, with staff opening a costume shop and residents dressed as their favourite characters. Delicious crepes, games, and dancing were enjoyed by many.
