It is with great sadness that Rotary Melbourne advises the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Tony Kosky. Tony passed away on Friday 4 August. President Chris provided this announcement at last week's meeting on 9 August 23.

MITS (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School) has shared their latest newsletter here. Edward Tudor, Executive Director noted that it's been a momentous few weeks at MITS, with their newest boarding house at 371 Church Street now open. The girls moved in at the start of Term 3 and are already benefitting from this beautiful home-away-from-home.

On Monday 7 August 23 members of the Rotary Melbourne Make A House A Home (MAHAH) attended the Launch Housing release of their Capital Cities Homelessness Index 2023 during National Homelessness Week.
A number of Rotary Melbourne members, including President Chris Sotiropoulos, Stephen Lake, Peter Hollingworth, Peter Rogers, PP Kevin Sheehan, Bob Fels, Stephen Rando, Sue& Reg Smith and Anthony Battaini attended this event.

On Monday 7 August 23, our Make A House a Home project (MAHAH) delivered 15 sets (30 tea-chest boxes) of new homeware to Launch Housing’s front line offices in Dandenong and St Kilda.

The End Hepatitis Now team at Rotary Melbourne have just received a video from our partner LiverWELL. The team believes that this Rap communication will be an important item of collateral for the campaign to bring the hepatitis message to young people at Interact clubs.
