Most of us with local community involvements will be aware of a person whose record of voluntary service for the benefit of older people would make them a worthy recipient of the Senior's Award.
The receipt of this award can be both an encouragement to this person and the organisation for which he or she works or represents. The successful nominee will have to be prepared to attend one of the Club's lunch meetings (probably in February 2018) to receive the acclaim of the President and members and speak for about five minutes about their work.
