After he was awarded the Medal, Tim gave a stirring address which touched on issues of leadership, including congratulations to our club for the leadership it is showing in the community. He also talked about the qualities of the leadership shown in Sir John and touched on a passionate interest of his, being the posthumous promotion of Sir John Monash to Brigadier.
Tim finished the meeting by mentioning the opportunity to acquire Sir John’s childhood home in Jerilderie. The presentation of the Medal and Tim's address was immensely enjoyed by everyone.
