- “I have a social enterprise initiative I would like to see RCM champion in our District. It’s an opportunity to engage our corporate partners and provide mentoring to social entrepreneurs;
- Communities that Care (CTC) – this was originally a joint venture between RCM and the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), the latter of whom pulled out because of the Government Auditor said CTC would need to become a controlled entity of RCH'
- I am keen to develop a pilot project to show how RCM can support the Hush Foundation deliver its music performance and dramatic programs on the culture of health care workplaces to care facilities across Victoria and perhaps Australia;
- More devotion to helping the disadvantaged in the Community;
- Participation in major program targeting control or elimination of any major viral disease which is borne by insect vectors (e.g. dengue fever)
- I am interested in early intervention on homelessness and how it is best supported;
- Linking up with other Rotary International and local peace programs to realistically enhance our RCM initiatives.
These are just a few of the rich suggestions from some of the respondents. They are deliberately unattributed here, but everyone has consented to our sharing feedback with relevant committee chairs etc. so we will now move forward on this basis with as many of the ideas we have received as possible."
