Rotary Melbourne was represented at the Rotary Centenary Peace Weekend in Canberra by PE Reg Smith and Sue, PP Robert Fisher and Myra, Claire Fraser and Mark Pinoli. A team from Rotary Sydney also participated in the festivities, and a senior diplomat from the New Zealand Embassy was at the opening ceremony for Rotarians and others who were unable to travel from NZ for the occasion.

Making the Rotary Peace Bell resound on Lake Burley Griffin
There were three principal events:
Myra Fisher, Mark Pinoli and Patrick, Reg and Sue Smith on the Aussie Peace Walk
The activities were organised by Chris Edwards of the Rotary Club of Hall, and proceeds – expected to exceed $10,000 – have been earmarked for the Pacific immunisation project ‘Rotary Give Every Child a Future’.
