Gerard Mansour is a passionate advocate for the rights and needs of older Victorians, with more than 30 years’ experience working in the aged and wider community service sectors. He has contributed significantly to policy development and implementation of services assisting senior Victorians. Gerard was appointed as the inaugural Commissioner for Senior Victorians in 2013.
As Commissioner, Gerard provides advice to the government on the needs and interests of senior Victorians – particularly those who are vulnerable, at risk or disadvantaged.
