Community Services needs Volunteers

The Community Health & Ageing Committee resides within the Community Service Directorate.
It's membership comprises members with wisdom and deep understanding of Rotary Melbourne's projects management and performance as well as younger members keen to develop initiatives for a better community.
This committee focuses on three elements:
i. managing existing projects which are community driven, such as R100 End Hepatitis Now, R100 Trauma Recovery, Mental Health Gala Charity Dinner and Seniors Award
ii. managing activities for fellowship, such as the Seniors Lunch and AFL Tipping Competition
iii. discussing current and emerging community needs and strengthening fellowship in times of lockdown and its impact on mental health, vaccination guidelines as well as interfacing with projects R100 End Trachoma Now and Australian Rotary Health.
The committee is seeking additional members who wish to either introduce new projects or contribute to the existing projects suite.
We especially welcome projects which impact community, either in a targeted manner to a defined group, or 'the big idea' which has national and perhaps international application.
Best wishes and of course "Good Health" to your family, friends, fellow Rotarians and yourself!
Please contact Dr. Chris Sotiropoulos if you are able to volunteer for one of the Community Services projects.
