Sip & Connect - Oh what a night
President Reg hosted this first whole of Club fellowship gathering since 2019 at the Crudo Warehouse in Kew, on Thursday 12 May. The cocktail party format proved highly successful, enabling members and guests to reconnect and network with other members in a relaxed and convivial setting.
Jo Mavros and President Reg made the most of working the room by selling raffle tickets and at the same time meeting and talking with everyone present. $2,000 was raised to support Community Welfare Committee Projects. First Prize - A bottle of 2003 Grange Shiraz went to Past President Quin Scalzo; Second and third prizes of 2 Nights accommodation for two at the Quest on Townsend, Albury were won by Janet Wang and past President, Mary Barry. The Door Prize for the event, a bottle of Chateau Neuf Du Pape, went to Cathy Rogers. The gallery photos of members enjoying each others company speak for themselves.
The event reminded us all of how important maintaining our social connection in the Club is in powering the good work that Rotary does for the community.
