Congratulations to Kushal and team for winning the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Sustainathon 2022 for Australia and New Zealand.
Last week, Kushal won the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Sustainathon 2022 for Australia and New Zealand with his team members. The competition involved developing innovative solutions for diverse, real-world challenges in environmental sustainability, social equality, and the economy. There were five challenges and five winners - one winner for each challenge.
Our challenge was called "What Price Water?". The challenge was to design and develop a solution to address the growing clean, affordable water needs of businesses and the broader community. Please visit the TCS Sustainathon website for more information: https://www.sustainathon.tcsapps.com/events/ongoing/ANZ2022. Our solution - "We proposed digitisation of water consumption in households and businesses to improve transparency, accountability, and management of water resources".
There were two rounds in the competition. In the first round, our team produced a 5-min video to demonstrate our research, solution, and its unique value proposition. Following our selection as one of the three finalists for the "What Price Water?" challenge, we pitched our solution to an amazing panel of judges. Our efforts helped us get over the finish line successfully and become the winner for our challenge.
