Art as an expression of ideas and emotions is open to interpretation.
Its value or otherwise is unique to the artist and to the critic.
On the other hand, art as an expression of history is absolute.
Its value is in the faith of integrity.
An artist who takes an empty canvas and creates a living conversation of the past and the future is rightfully a legacy worth celebrating.
