Footy Tipping is an important fund-raising initiative of the Health and Aging Committee. Last year the $2000 that was raised was used to fund a Christmas outing to the Peninsula and lunch for isolated and less privileged folks. To raise this amount, we need at least 110 tippers, not that many in a club of our size. I’m hoping all last year’s tippers will sign up again. If you are not one of them, please consider joining and if you’re not a footy fan give the subscription to someone who is. Children, grandchildren, neighbours, friends, etc. They will love you for it. Or you could just join and make a donation of $40. Remember, once we have covered our prize money, just 10 additional tippers raises $400!
