Many people in Rochester are still displaced from their homes due to the floods and continue to live in caravans, tents and sheds. An immediate need has been raised by the President and President Elect of RC Rochester. It is becoming increasingly cold now and the people who are living in caravans, tents and sheds need blankets, doonas and fan heaters (not Bar heaters).
This is a callout for blankets, doonas and fan heaters to be donated to these communities.
The other item that has been requested is ‘weed killer’ to address the overgrowth that has developed. The people there are still not ready for household items, furniture or clothing.

We are looking at a two week timeframe to collect as much as possible and drive up to Rochester and distribute to the communities in need with assistance from RC Rochester. Your donations of the above items are very much needed and will be very much appreciated.
