There are a range of events during the convention, hosted by the Rotary Club of Melbourne and also the Convention Organising Committee. You can book and attend any of these events even if you are unable to make it to the Convention itself.

Marvellous Melbourne Cocktail Party

Our club's signature event at the Convention is our Marvellous Melbourne Cocktail Party, held at the Hotel Windsor Grand Ballroom on Sunday 28th May 2023, 5-7pm. This is the evening of the Opening Ceremony at Rod Laver Arena, and we have extended invitations to our international Sister City clubs, our Friendship Clubs, the JWD Clubs (founded by James Wheeler Davidson), the first clubs of each country, and the Australian capital city clubs. It will be an historic occasion, the first time members of these clubs have gathered together anywhere in the world. If there is only one Rotary Melbourne event you can attend this year, this is it.
