November Is Rotary Foundation Month

Arch C. Klumph

The Rotary Foundation, established in 1917 by Rotary International, stands as a testament to the power of service and the potential for positive global change. Throughout its history, this remarkable organisation has worked to improve lives, promote peace, and address some of the world's most pressing challenges.

The Rotary Foundation owes its inception to Arch C. Klumph, the sixth president of Rotary International. In 1917, Klumph's visionary idea of creating a charitable arm of Rotary was adopted by the Rotary Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. With an initial contribution of $26.50, the Rotary Foundation embarked on a journey that would change countless lives.
