As the Chief Executive Officer of Interplast Australia & New Zealand, one of the highlights of my year remains the numerous club and District presentations that I undertake across the country; witnessing first-hand the passion and dedication demonstrated by all Rotarians in making our communities better tomorrow than they are today.
It was that same passion for, and belief in, a better world that saw Rotarians join together with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1983 to establish Interplast. Since that time, our highly-skilled volunteer surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals have delivered more than 27,000 life-changing surgeries, and offered training to 8,500+ medical personnel across the Asia Pacific region.
This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the support of Rotarians like you – thank you.
As you know, your Club has been a great supporter of Interplast in previous years, and I write in the hope that the Club will once again join with Interplast to change lives by making a donation before the end of this Rotary year. Your donation will be used to ensure our exceptional medical volunteers can achieve remarkable outcomes for individuals in greatest need.
The need for Interplast’s services remains significant. For every patient we treat, a life is positively changed. For every medical professional we support in training, the impact is greater again.
