Rotary Melbourne's 46th Meeting of this Rotary year and our 5,037^th all time Club meeting, in its one 103rd year showcased the club’s activities in 2023-24.

Meeting MC was Richard Dent.  The reflection was delivered by Past President Robert Fisher and is published in full later in this bulletin.

After completing the weekly meeting formalities, President Chris Sotiropoulos handed over Chairmanship to Vice President, Peter Davis whose address gave a comprehensive overview of the Projects, Volunteering Activity, Events and Fellowship which occurred in 2023-24.  Peter’s address incorporated presentation of:

• a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) to Past President to Adrian Nelson for his exemplary service to the Club as President in the year of the RI Convention in Melbourne, and his work in managing the Club’s on-line presence, and
• the Vice President’s Axle Award to Peter Berg, for his service to the Club as Safe Families Ambassador, and outstanding contribution to impactful environmental and sustainability projects.

When closing the meeting Peter reminded all members of the importance of all of us attending the Rotary Melbourne’s Annual Presidential Changeover in which President Chris Sotiropoulos will pass the leadership baton to incoming President Catherine Baxter.  It will be held on Wednesday 26 June 24 at 12:30pm in the Sofitel Hotel, Latrobe Room on Level 1, 25 Collins Street Melbourne.
