Vocational Service Award 2024/25 – Call for Nominations

Service above self is one of the fundamental values of Rotarians.  We celebrate this important value every time we serve others and create opportunities for others to do so as well.

Our Club’s annual Vocational Service Award recognises significant vocational service of community leaders in the community who have achieved distinction in their chosen career and have demonstrably used their vocational skills to selflessly make significant contributions to the community.

Do you know a person whose career and community contribution measures up to this challenging yardstick?  If they live in Victoria and you believe they fit these challenging criteria, we want to hear from you.  Just give us the name and a paragraph on their achievements and the Vocational Service Committee will do the rest.

Nominations for the 2024-25 close on Wednesday 31 July 2024.

PP Reg Smith, Project Champion or Marg Leser, Vocational Service Chair are available to answer any questions.  Let’s pull out all stops to find the distinguished Victorian who will receive this award in its 61st year.

The Award presentation is scheduled for the Rotary Melbourne Weekly Meeting on Wednesday 16 October 2024.
