Robert Fisher was invited to speak at Rotary Harare Central on Thursday 1 August 24, where banners were also exchanged.
A very lively group of around 30 attended, and were interested in my Rotary story, and reflections on our return visit to Zimbabwe. While visiting a rural school, we identified a potential project which I'll be following up with my Rotary networks there and here in Oz.
We also attended the regular meeting of Rotary Highlands (a suburb of Harare), where the speaker, Salome Nhira, spoke of her decision to leave an executive role in the Bank of America to offer mental health care back in her home country.
