At the Rotary Melbourne meeting on Wednesday 18 September 24 Damian Cardona Onses, Director of the United Nations Information Centre in Canberra recommended Rotary members may be interested in attending the Disinfo Pacific, Regional Conference on Disinformation, Australia, New Zealand and The Pacific, 11-12 November 2024, Brisbane.
DISINFO PACIFIC explores global strategies and approaches against disinformation to enhance democratic processes, foster social cohesion, advance climate action and safeguard public health. The conference supports multi-sector collaboration and a dialogue which spans worldwide contexts, with a focus on Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
