16 years to the day since former member Mike Flavel selected the Group Study Exchange (GSE) team to Sweden. Mike represented Rotary Melbourne as the GSE team leader and mentor for these wonderful young people in May 2009.
The program enabled young professionals to travel internationally for cultural and vocational exchanges. Sponsored by Rotary clubs, participants enhanced professional skills, connected with local experts, and immersed themselves in different cultures, building
global understanding and goodwill among communities.
The 2009 team are still together after all these years.
