Rotary Melbourne welcomed and inducted Anne McCormack on 20 November 2024 with the classification CEO - Aged Care.
Anne was born and educated in Scotland. She then went on to work in USA and Europe.
Anne stated of her career in telecommunications and technology before moving to Banking when she immigrated to Australia in 2007. Anne landed in Perth with her husband and two children and made her home there for the next few years.
It was in Australia that Anne developed extensive experience in private health insurance, community aged care, disability, mental health and tertiary health where she operated at Executive level. Anne has a strong background in partnerships and acquisitions, growth and strategy design across a range of sectors.
With a passion for human services and the dignity of care, Anne believes in a holistic approach to the provision of care to vulnerable people and understands the necessity to maintain a safe, stable environment for those receiving services. She is also a firm believer in defining human centred models of care, as well as utilising technology and analytics to enhance the lives of the people that receive mecwacare’s services. Anne was appointed as mecwacare’s chief executive officer in September 2023. Anne is also the Board Chair of a paediatric community services organisation in Perth West Australia
