It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of honor that we invite you to the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Leonardo da Vinci International Award, to be held in Athens, Greece, from May 16 to 18, 2025.
This year marks a landmark edition of one of Rotary's most enduring and distinguished European institutions—an award that honors excellence, creativity, and contribution to society. The 2025 ceremony is hosted by the Rotary Club of Athens, with the valuable cooperation of fellow Rotary Clubs representing Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. These Clubs have formed a long-standing alliance in the spirit of cultural cooperation and service, working together to preserve and elevate the prestige of the Leonardo da Vinci Award.
In 2025, the city of Athens—cradle of democracy, philosophy, and the arts—will host Rotarians and distinguished guests from across Europe. The official Award Ceremony will take place at the emblematic Zappeion Megaron, a neoclassical landmark at the heart of the city, steeped in history and symbolism. The broader program will include cultural visits, guided tours, networking opportunities, and social activities that highlight both the classical heritage and the dynamic contemporary spirit of the Greek capital. As one of the most vibrant cities in Europe, Athens offers a compelling backdrop for this historic Rotary gathering, combining rich tradition with warm hospitality.
This year, the award is presented to a Greek artist with music studies, who has distinguished herself at the European level for her achievements in the musical arts.
The event will bring together representatives from eleven European countries, as well as influential personalities from the worlds of science, the arts, academia, and entrepreneurship, fostering an atmosphere of intercultural dialogue and mutual inspiration.

The event will culminate in a formal Gala Dinner at the Grand Ball of the iconic Hotel Grande Bretagne, following the Award Ceremony at the Zappeion. Guests are kindly requested to register by May 2, 2025, to allow for the best possible coordination. Formal attire is required for the Gala.
