The convention brought together thousands of Rotarians from all over the world. Being surrounded by people who are so passionate, kind, and committed to making a difference was incredibly inspiring. I got to hear their stories, learn about the projects they’re leading in their countries, and see with my own eyes what “Service Above Self” really means in action. It was powerful to witness how people from different cultures and backgrounds all come together for the same purpose to create positive change in the world.

One special part of the trip for me was being able to interview some of the Rotarians and guests. These conversations helped me understand their motivations, values, and how Rotary has impacted their lives and communities. It gave me deeper insight and made the whole experience even more personal and unforgettable.

On top of all of this, visiting Canada was a dream come true. Since I was a child, I had always dreamed of seeing Canada, and thanks to Rotary, I got to make that dream a reality. Calgary was beautiful, full of kind people and breathtaking nature, and it made the whole journey even more special.

I’m deeply thankful to Rotary for giving young people like me these kinds of opportunities. This experience not only helped me grow as a person, but also reminded me that I am part of something much bigger a global family working to build a better future.
