On 20 March 26 David Kram visit Rotary Todi, Province of Perugia, Italy and exchanged banners.
Todi is a hilltop town right in the centre of Italy, in Umbria, south of Perugia, north-west of Rome. It is an ancient town, more ancient indeed than Rome. A friendly town, with a nice community of expats too. Belinda and I stayed in Nido di Gufi (Owls' Nest), self contained apartments in a 12th century palace, renovated, owned and run by Jenn from Melbourne and her South African husband.
I went to a lovely RC Todi meeting on Friday March 20. After an interesting talk on the Todi cathedral, we sat down to a four-course meal and banners were exchanged.
On Tuesday I'll be paying a visit to RC Napoli (Naples). Unfortunately I missed the RC Milan meeting owing to work pressures.
