On Wednesday 15tJuly Cheryl Lacey and past member Clifton Warren presented at the Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak. This year is the clubs 25th anniversary.
Clifton was guest speaker - his title 25 Years of Rotary - Lessons in Leader Service and Relationships. Through story telling Clifton blended his experience as a member of 4 clubs  over25 years to highlight his 3 key messages.

Cheryl facilitated the Club Assembly - with 5 pressing issues explored.

  1. Meetings - Purpose
  2. Chairing of Meetings
  3. Meeting Venue
  4. Membership Development
  5. Projects

This club is not alone with challenges of membership participation and recruitment, as evidenced by RI’s reduction of requirement from 20 to 15 for membership and/or charter.

The highly interactive session included stories, reflections, questions, concerns and ideas.

Concluding the assembly, the club is enthusiastic in their renewed commitment to the critical relationship between fellowship and membership, and in assessing projects through this fellowship/membership lens, in lieu of fundraising as the primary measure of success.

It was a delight to contribute to the renewed foundation and future of this wonderful club, particularly in its 25th year.
