This week, we have so much we can reflect on.
Leaders like Modi and Xi Jinping emerged with major diplomatic momentum, altering traditional dynamics with the West.
- The Pace of Innovation vs. Safety: Anthropic CEO made waves by publicly warning that the AI industry is moving too fast and Donald Trump said it is of no concern !!!! We need to ask ourselves if we think we are pausing enough to consider the long-term impacts of AI.
- Daily Life: A massive surge in Middle East tensions has driven global oil prices past $100 a barrel. I expect diesel to be $3 per litre by Christmas. It’s a stark reminder of how interconnected our local costs of living are affected by global events.
- 25 Years Post-9/11: terrorist attacks. This milestone has fundamentally changed international security, travel, and our collective sense of unity let alone security.
- Personal Reflection : a good time for all of us to reflect on what it means to be in a club like ours and spending time with friends & working on projects that align with our own values.
