Several members of Rotary Melbourne attended the Bionics Insitute Preview Event on research into Women’s health — focused on treating perimenopausal brain fog, endometriosis and chronic pain.

Held at The Bionics Institute's new home within the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery, the event welcomed more than 100 attendees and was a resounding success.

A panel hosted by Donna Demaio featured Professor Kate Hoy on perimenopausal brain fog, Associate Professor Sophie on her new research into endometriosis using vagus nerve stimulation, and Professor Rachael Richardson with an update on drug-free alternatives for chronic pain.

Two generous patient advocates also shared their lived experiences with endometriosis and chronic pain.

We thank all our supporters for joining us—particularly members of the Rotary Melbourne—to celebrate the impact of medical research at the Bionics Institute.
