CLUB REMINDERS

AROUND THE BAY IN A DAY 2017 - REMINDER

Have you registered your support for the Around the Bay on Sunday,  October 8? This year, we have been allocated an extra 30 volunteer places with an increase to 86 from previous year's 56.  We still need 40 volunteers for just a few hours in Fitness, Fellowship and Fundraising activities to provide the support for the Smith Family.

Ok, you may not be physically able to participate by riding Around the Bay,  but what is stopping you from being part of the team to assist the Club in one of its main fundraising activities?  Click here to volunteer/ride/or sponsor

NEXT SATURDAY: MONASH 'PEACE' CANTATA

Have you purchased your tickets for Saturday 9 September, 6.30pm at Hamer Hall?  It is the Premier performance of PEACE – A Cantata for John Monash.   Group bookings of 10 or more are still available.  Make this a Group night out followed by dinner.

HOMELESSNESS FORUM SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER

The power to make a collective difference..........

To come together with other Clubs to discuss this.......

CLUB "CHAMPION"

PETER CLEMENGER

Peter Clemenger asked me: "Why do you want to interview me?"  I told him it was for the “Club Champion” segment in the Club Bulletin.  He very quickly replied,  “I am no Champion!”  I asked him what he considered a “Champion” of the Club would represent?   “There are many more members who have made a real difference in the Club….. I admire immensely the projects and the people but I simply have not had the time.”
