MEMBER NEWS

MONASH PEACE CANTATA CONGRATULATIONS!

Bravo to Maestro David Kram and Kevin O’Flaherty on last Saturday night’s Peace Cantata in Hamer Hall.  Thank you to Group Captains members and friends for embracing the Cantata as a Club Group activity.  The overall effort did Hamer Hall proud.  The Cantata was superb, totally absorbing in sound, movement and screen.  In mixing afterwards, there was a real buzz in awe.

Whilst we were all sorry that Kevin O’Flaherty could not attend, emails must be flowing his way in acknowledgement that his creation had come to life.  He would be proud of the musical talent of David Kram, not only for Saturday evening’s performance, but for the countless hours in the making.  It was truly an outstanding assembly of soloists, choirs and musicians – an incredible effort.
