CONFERENCE 2018

CONFERENCE INVITATION FROM DG PETER FRUEH

"One of the ways that Rotarians find out about the wider world of Rotary is by attending a District Conference. I went to my first District Conference four months after joining Rotary and was amazed at the range of projects that other Clubs did, listened to inspiring speakers and was able to bond with my club members and partners in a fun environment. My wife Anne, then a non Rotarian, was also amazed and inspired.

SUZE VAN MEEGEN UPDATE ON PEACE FELLOWSHIP

Rob Helme writes:  "As you are all aware,  November is  Rotary Foundation month. There would be no Peace Program without donations from Rotarians, and it is in November that we try and impress upon them the value of the program and encourage them to make donations to the Foundations programs, of which the Peace Fellowships is the largest benefactor. This is a short piece from Suze van Meegen describing the value to her of the program so that we can read her thoughts on how the program has affected her life."
