MITS (Melbourne Indigenous Transition School) has shared their latest newsletter here. Edward Tudor, Executive Director, notes 'Our newest cohort of 22 Year 7 students have settled in wonderfully to life in Melbourne, forming lifelong friendships and applying themselves beautifully at school. Our inaugural Year 8 school program is also underway, whereby last year's MITS students stepped into our new classroom space down at Richmond High School'.

On Sunday 19 February, Sharann Johnson and partner Mike Callander hosted a friendly Malvern Group barbecue lunch for 14 members and partners.
DG Amanda Wendt announced this morning that following the nominating committee meeting on 18 Feb, that District 9800 is very pleased to advise that the District 9800 Governor Nominee (Designate), to serve as Governor in 2025-2026, will be Past President Peter Shepheard, nominated by the Rotary Club of Altona.

The Rotary Club of Melbourne Young Achievers awards recognise and honour annually up to three outstanding young Victorians with an award and a cheque for $1,500.
Congratulations to Professor Jeremy Oats AM who has been awarded this year’s Rotary International highest honour, the Service Above Self award.
Congratulations to Jenny Taing and Rohan Sheehy who welcomed a sister for 18 month old Gigi on Monday 23 January named Estelle (Elle), weighing in at 3.16 kg. Mother and daughter arrived home on last week and all are settling in well.
Jenny hopes you are having a great start to the year.
