We were fascinated in the simply marvellous presentation which raised our awareness in the cutting-edge Parkinson's disease research being undertaken by the two young researchers from the Florey Institute at last week's meeting.

Last year, during lockdown, Deakin University selected our Rotary SAFE Families Program for the Work Integrated Learning students in the Faculty of Arts & Education. Our PP Quin Scalzo brought our Rotary Melbourne 100 Year Centenary to life early Wednesday morning as a guest of "McLaren Overnight & Wake Up Australia".
Many Rotary Clubs celebrated our Rotary Melbourne's 100 Year Centenary as they welcomed the 100th Anniversary of Rotary in Australia on April 21.

Rotary Melbourne had three teams of four playing under the banner of our Rotary club at the Sorrento Rotary charity golf day, last week at Sorrento Golf club. There could only be one team of winners. Winners are the grinners!
Trevor Nink and Jim Orchard have made a decision about the planned Around the Bay Picnic to be held on Saturday, 1 May. Due to the Multi District Conference on May 1 and some other Rotary activities, the Picnic is postponed till another time later in the year. Apologies to those who have planned for the picnic. We'll make another date.
