Of particular interest from Warwick presentation was the logistical nature of his current role and the extraordinary demands in terms of planning for the Victorian Election with in excess of 4 million voters.
The current staffing of the VEC is normally around 100 people. Warwick indicated they had to employ 25,000 people for the election and they all needed to be paid superannuation for the short period of time they were employed!
Some 7 kilometres of paper was required to print all the voting papers! Thank you Peter Dakin, Chairperson.
