Awardees:

• Hussein Shuriye (service to the Somali Community),
• Eileen Schabel (for supervising carpentry for vision impaired people)
• Jacques Duhau (for volunteering at Ozanam  House – a drop-in shelter – over countless years).  Editor remembers passing this Shelter on Flemington Road 65 years ago.  Men gathered on the street at 3.00 pm every day needing food, shower and bed.  Ozanam opened their doors at 4.30 pm.  Before 3.00 pm these men were in the Royal Park across the road.   What has changed?
