Members will recall that Michel was a member from 2002 to 2007 when he was the General Manager of the Grand Hyatt on Collins Street. Together with Lisa and Jane, they stayed with Michael and Yvonne at the JW Marriott, a 450 room luxury golf course hotel situated within New Cairo near the airport.
Apart from a private dinner superbly cooked by Michel on his Aussie Beef-Eater BBQ, Yvonne facilitated a private tour of the Pyramids of Gisa, Coptic Cairo and the evening Bazar with a highlight farewell dinner on the banks of the Nile.
Michel wanted to convey that the welcome mat is out for any members venturing to Egypt and let everyone know that this hotel owner is also the proprietor of the cruise boats on the Nile. The next time the Sheehan/Endersbee clan travel to Egypt, it will be to join Michel and Yvonne on the Nile cruise to Luxor.
