PAUL HENNINGHAM

Hugh Bucknall has provided the following:  "A Returned Serviceman who saw active service on the Kokoda Trail, PNG, in World War 2, Paul founded Rotary Down Under magazine in 1965 and served as managing editor from 1965 to 1984.

He nurtured the growth of Rotary's regional magazines around the world, and was a leading mentor of many other Rotary
projects and associated publications.  A complete tribute to the life and times of HERBERT PAUL HENNINGHAM will be published in the February issue of Rotary Down Under.

Paul had a wicked sense of humour and great advice to John Mitchell and me (Hugh Bucknall) over the years. He was one of 14 projected Centenarians in 2021 including 3 (in mid-December 2018) in RCM.  Now there are 11 with Ken Woods and Lawton Cooke's passing."
