JOIN US AT WERRIBEE ZOO WITH YOUR YOUNGSTERS

The Zoo visit, for refugee children and their parents/carers supported by the Asylum Seekers Resource Centre (ASRC), has been sponsored by the Welfare of the Young Committee for over six years.

Rotarians (members) and their children and grandchildren are invited to attend (admittance and refreshments at their own cost) to meet with the ASRC group of children and their carers over lunch.

The luncheon meeting point will be at 12.00 adjacent to the ”Safari Station” (see attached map). werribee_zoo_map.pdf

It is anticipated that the ASRC group will be 40 – 80 strong comprising up to 40 adults and their children and each family will be given a “show bag” , water and lunch vouchers .  Food and drinks are available at the Zoo and people may wish to bring a picnic, rug and hats.

Maree and Ted intend to be there before 12.00 and will be wearing RCM vests, hopefully! Representatives from ASRC and “Kids Zone” will be in charge.

After lunch,  board the free bus tour or walk around the Zoo.  What a terrific way of creating friendships,  support AND enjoying a new experience.  This is the first time this annual event is beind held at Werribee Park Open Zoo.
