While this issue has been raised with ClubRunner – who are based in Canada – the only available option for Rotary members who do not want their details available in this way is to change their privacy settings in the Member section of the District website.
If this is your wish, here is the process:
Step 1: Go to www.rotarydistrict9800.org.au and enter via the ‘Member Login’ at the top of the Home page;
Step 2: Once logged in as a Member (you will see your name at the top of the page), click on the “Member Area”
Step 3: Select the ‘For Members’ tab at the top of the page (in the Member Area) – which will bring up a sub-menu that includes ‘Edit My Profile’
Step 4: Once in your personal ‘Member Profile’, you need to click on the ‘Edit’ button. Scroll down the page to reach the ‘Search Privacy’ section. Remove the ‘tick’ for the first item: “Allow Search”.
Step 5: Keep scrolling to the very bottom of this page, and click ‘Save’.
Note your privacy settings will only change if you hit ‘Save’.
Making this change will prevent your personal details from being available to members of other clubs. Note your information will remain available to members of our Club.
