An "Invitation to You" envelope containing 9 Flyers and an R100 Treat was handed out by our Members to nearly everyone who attended the Conference. Some District and Assistant Governors also collected many Invitation envelopes to hand out themselves to their Clubs.
The Flyers included asking the Rotarian: "What is Your Centenary Project?" and described the various Rotary 100 initiatives which are just some of the planned projects:
A huge thank you to our PP Quin who generously donated 2,000 bags of mixed nuts which were "stickered" with the help of Antonio and Linda Pajovic and Editor's granddaughter (and Editor) with 2,000 stickers conveying message: "R100 Treat --- Refresh, Reflect, Respond!"
President Robert, PE Kevin, Marion Macleod, Reg Smith, Hugh Bucknall, Pam Brown, Ari Talantis, Richard Skinner, Chris Wang, Barbara Yerondais, Quin Scalzo, Trevor Nink, Norman Taralrud-Bay (forgive Editor for omissions) were all part of Rotary Melbourne making a terrific impact and representation of our Club to 4 Districts.
The response to this Invitation was terrific and "hit the target". So many wonderful Rotarians ....... all coming together to make a difference!
