Professor Jeremy Oats graduated from the University of Adelaide and received his doctorate from the University of Nottingham. As an obstetrician he was previously Head of the Diabetes Service at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Victoria, Australia. He is a member of the Hyperglycemia and Adverse Pregnancy Outcome (HAPO) Steering Committee and Secretary General of The Intermational Assocation of the Diabetes and Pregnancy Study Groups (IADPSG).
