An important part of President Kevin's introduction included reference to:

• Our Centenary planning started just after our 90th anniversary;
• Detailed planning has been underway for 5 years now;
• Because of the Centenary, we launched Give Every Child a Future and End Trachoma and have secured a commemorative stamp;
• Our Centenary will help build membership and energise current members;
• New Zealand launched their R100 campaign last week with a vice regal function at Government House.
