Thank you Kerry for your summary: "Michael Jeffery has two passions: Ending Trachoma and Advocate for Soil Health - Liquefaction Of Soil.
He was grateful that Nourish our Communities and Rotary Melbourne were working together and the representation by Kerry Kornhauser, Rob McGuirk and Murray Verso on the Australia Trachoma Allianz Board. Partners include Melbourne University Eye Indigenous Unit, Professor Hugh Taylor, NACCHO and Fred Hollows Foundation.
Through our projects: mirrors, towels, laundry facilities, and personal washing machines, we have made good progress in fighting the elimination of Trachoma in Australia.
Major General Jeffery chairs "Soils fo Life", a not-for-profit environmental organisation with the stated purpose of "enhancing the natural environment through the provision of information and education on innovative leading performance in managing Australia's natural environment, particularly with a focus on the Australian rural landscape.
"Soils for Life" supports innovative farmers and land managers demonstrating high performance in regenerative landscape management." Thanks Kerry.
