To those of you who don't know what On to Conference is, it's a Rotary Melbourne tradition. Together we traverse our way to the District Conference in unity, with stops along the way in different towns and points of interest. It's a great way to make new friendships within the club and build on old ones. As always we are really spoilt for choice as to what will make up the OTC programme 2020, there is so much to choose from.
On our reconnaissance trip Richard and I really loved The Great Stupa of Universal Compassion, which is just out of Bendigo in Myers Flat. After visiting The Great Stupa we lunched at The Balgownie Estate. We did do some wine tasting and we are happy to report that the reds are excellent. In Bendigo itself we visited The Golden Dragon Museum and The Bendigo Art Gallery. Bendigo has so much to offer, the above is just a sample of what we are planning.
On to Conference 2020 is going to be lots of fun, informative and memorable. There will be time for relaxation, great dinners, visits to the above mentioned places and more. Above all, like always it will be about Fellowship.
