"Past President Quin Scalzo, DGN Dale Hoy and IPP Robert Fisher met on Friday at Afri-Aus Care to continue our developing relationship. We were introduced by CEO Selba Gondoza Luka to a group of African fathers from the Dandenong community, with whom we are exploring the possibility of starting a mentoring program.
The feedback from the men has been really encouraging, and they like the idea of our plan to meet at Springvale Centre every fortnight. What they wish for is some support and guidance; someone to listen to what they are going through without judging them. Afri-Aus Care will provide a counselling program alongside the mentoring.
