KEVIN SIMKISS ANNUAL DAY AT THE ZOO!

Kirsty Sword Gusmao, Community Engagement & Development Program Coordinator - Innovation Hub organises the Asylum Seekers Family Day Picnic each year.  Melbourne Zoo has granted 50 free adult passes to the Zoo on 18 January for refugee families (kids enter free).

Last year at Werribee Park, 40 to 50 adults and a similar number of children lunched and enjoyed the Park.

Rotary Members are invited to bring their children and/or grandchildren to picnic together and to meet the families and children whilst spending a few hours at the ever popular Melbourne Zoo. This is a time to extend our hand of friendship, a chance for children to mingle, meet and to welcome.

Last year,  President Robert Fisher and Myra, Peter Berg and Camille,  Editor and respective grandchildren were met by Ted Garland and Maree and met some terrific families and their children.  There were so many families we couldn't get to meet them all and this next annual event at the Melbourne Zoo needs you and you and you

Bring your children/grandchildren, bring a picnic, bring and give your friendship whilst enjoying our Zoo.

Bulletin will provide further details in new year, or talk to Ted or Dorothy.
