Peter wrote:  "It is a matter of some pride and coincidence that Michael Selth's uncle (Rob Selth) and mine (David Rogers) flew in the same crew in D Day campaign in June 1944 - supporting the biggest invasion in history.

They flew  a Halifax 3 aircraft out of Pockington near York. There were over 1,000 aircraft flying on those nights.

Regrettably they were shot down over the English Channel shortly after D Day in July 1944. We celebrate them on Anzac Day."
